I’m sure other people have noticed this as well, but before Shinji throws his SDAT player after learning that he caused the third impact, the time on the player is at 1h29m38s, the exact time that Shinji realizes that fourth impact is occurring later on in the film. Also, when Shinji is playing Shogi with Fuyutsuki, he tells him that he will lose in thirty-one turns. Thirty-one minutes later, Kaworu dies.
And in the original anime series, Shinji’s SDAT switched between 25 and 26. If GAINAX didn’t run out of money, 25 and 26 would have been what became End of Evangelion.
Shinji, you should have never thrown away your SDAT. It can predict the future.
Please don’t remove the artist’s caption/comment when you reblog a drawing/comic/etc.
I obviously can’t speak for everyone, but in my case the caption is often an addition to the joke, and if you take it away, you take away a part of my comic.
